What is the net worth of YoungBoy never Broke again?

YoungBoy never broke again, also known by the name NBA YoungBoy is a rapper, songwriter, and singer with a net-worth of $10 million. Between 2015 and 2017, he first gained public recognition when he released 6 independent mixtapes. He gained fame after releasing his debut album, “Until Death Call My Name”, and the single “Outside Today.” In 2019, his star continued to soar with the number-one single “Bandit,” and the number-one album “Al YoungBoy 2.”

Early life and career Beginnings

YoungBoy, real name Kentrell Gaulden was born in Baton Rouge in Louisiana in 1999. His father was serving a 55-year sentence in prison, so he was raised by his maternal grandma. Gaulden was forced to wear a brace on his head after he broke his neck in a wrestling match as a toddler. This left him with scars. Gaulden was sent to a Louisiana detention center after he dropped out of highschool. He began writing lyrics there. Gaulden was released from prison to find that his grandmother had died. Gaulden moved in with NBA 3Three and his friend, a fellow rapper. Together they committed crimes in order to pay for studio time.

Gaulden released “Life Before Fame” in 2015. Gaulden followed up with a number of mixtapes, including “Mind of a Menace,””Before I Go,”and “38 Baby,”the lattermost of which featured fellow rappers Stroke ThaDon and Boosie Bazz. Gaulden gained fame for his feud with Scotty Cain in which they exchanged death threats via song. Gaulden gained more attention when he arrested in Austin, Texas under suspicion of attempted murder. He re-released his mixtapes while incarcerated in East Baton Rouge Parish.

“Al YoungBoy,” “Until Death Call My Name,” and More Mixtapes

Gaulden, who released the star-studded music video for “41” in July 2017, released “Al YoungBoy,” a mixtape. It was his biggest hit to date, reaching number 24 on Billboard 200 and launching the singles, “Untouchable” & “No Smoke.” In 2018, the song “Outside Today”, which reached number 31 on Billboard Hot 100, was even more successful. Gaulden’s debut studio album “Until Death Call My Name” peaked at number 7 on the Billboard 200.

Gaulden also released a mixtape in 2018 entitled “Master the Day of Judgement.” During the summer of that year, Gaulden released a series four EPs each with four tracks. Then he released two mixtapes: “Decided,” and “Realer.” Gaulden’s regular and exclusive releases on YouTube had made him one of YouTube’s Top Music Artists by January 2019.

More Hit Singles and albums

Gaulden, who was under house arrest for 14 months and unable to make music during that time, returned to the charts with “Bandit” in October 2019 along with JuiceWrld. Gaulden’s biggest-charting song to date, “Bandit” reached number 10 on Billboard Hot 100. After this, Gaulden released “Al YoungBoy 2”, which debuted as the number one mixtape on Billboard 200. The album had 144 million audio streams on demand in its first week, making it one of the most successful streaming debuts this year.

Gaulden’s smash hit “Al YoungBoy 2”, was followed by another hit mixtape “Still flexin, still steppin.” In April 2020, Gaulden released the mixtape, “38 Baby 2,” his second album that debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Later in the year, he released “Top”, another album that topped the charts. It spawned Hot 100 charting singles like “Kacey talk,” “All In,”and “My Window.” Gaulden then released the mixtape ‘Until I Return,’ which was available exclusively on YouTube.

Gaulden released “Sincerely, Kentrell”, “The Last Slimeto”, “I Rest My Case”, “Don’t Try This at Home” and “Richest Opp”, in 2023.

Criminal Activity

Gaulden’s criminal activities have been consistent both before and after his professional career. In November 2016, he was arrested for a crime in Austin, Texas. He had jumped out of a car and opened fire on a crowd of pedestrians. In the end, he was jailed for two counts of attempted murder in the first degree. Gaulden, who pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of aggravated firearm assault, was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 3 years active probation. The former was suspended. In early 2018, Gaulden was arrested for assault, kidnapping and weapons violations. He was then released on bail.

Gaulden, who was on probation in 2019 when he was shot at by the suspect driving a black Cadillac Escalade, returned fire. Gaulden’s charges for the shooting were dropped, but he was found guilty of violating his probation because he was with Trulondrick Norris and Ben Fields. He was then sentenced to 90-days in jail and banned from performing during his 14-month house arrest. Gaulden was arrested again in Baton Rouge in September 2020. He was one of 16 people who were arrested for drug manufacturing, distribution and possession of stolen firearms. Gaulden was again arrested the following year for a federal warrant. He tried to avoid it by running away on foot after federal agents attempted to stop his car. Gaulden was found innocent of federal firearms charges in July 2022. In March 2023 the restrictions on his house arrest were lifted, allowing him to have more than three guests at once without any curfew.

Personal life

Gaulden has eleven children with nine different women. Two of his sons, Kacey, and Kayden, were featured in the music video of “Kacey Talk” by Gaulden. He married Jazlyn Hayes, his long-time partner and mother of both of his children in January 2023.

Gaulden stated that he intends to be baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after his ankle monitor has been removed.

Real Estate

YoungBoy, who moved to Utah in 2011, bought a home worth $5.2 million and settled into it in Salt Lake City. As of this writing, it’s not clear if YoungBoy bought or rented the home from the new owner. It turned out that he bought the house, possibly after renting it for a while. The purchase price of the home was not revealed, but it occurred in 2022. He listed his home for $5.9m in March 2024. This is the video tour.
